Super MAZ with YAMZ 7511 400 h.p. engine converted to dedicated CNG

Maximal travel distance without refueling is serious problem for dedicated CNG vehicles. Not only cylinders costs and weight must be taken into account but sometimes there is simply no place for installation. Calculated max travel distance for this powerful truck is 800km with full tank.

 

Record-breaking distance was provided by two crucial aspects:

First, very big CNG storage system which consists of 13 cylinders 108L each, 325nm3 total volume,
Second, our engineers high skill and competence, which resulted in low CNG consumption no more than 40nm3/100km

In order to provide small fueling time, high pressure system parts were connected by high pressure pipe with increased diameter.
